Additional Graduate Courses (12 units)

A minimum of 12 units of additional graduate courses approved by the advisor is required. These could include courses from the Higher Education courses list above. They may also include courses outside of GSOE.

Planned Higher Education courses:

     • Higher Education Governance

     • Demographics and Diversity in Higher Education

     • Student Affairs in Higher Education

     • Student Development

For those with a focus upon student affairs, Student Affairs in Higher Education, and Student Development, would be appropriate courses.

Analytical Report

Students will complete a final written project that integrates content from Higher Education courses with practice. A final version of the report will be submitted to GSOE and evaluated by faculty in the Higher Education area.

It is anticipated that, when there is sufficient demand, some courses will be offered during a summer session. This will include specialized courses and program core courses.
