The School Psychology Program at the University of California, Riverside is comprised of a diverse group of individuals. Students are chosen based on their high level of academic achievement as well as their ability to interact with others in a professional manner.

Students in  the  Ph.D. programs are encouraged to develop a research focus. Interests include literacy for struggling students, English language learner needs, conduct disorder and other behavioral problems, and systemic change (implementation of a Response to Intervention model).
