The California Community College Collaborative (C4)
Established jointly in 2005 by the leadership of the University of California and the California Community Colleges, C4 at UCR seeks to improve the quality of California’s community colleges by providing data-driven research.
A Research Center
Focusing on the needs of California’s community colleges, C4 provides much needed valuable information to current and future practitioners and educational leaders in California and nationally by:
- Supporting and conducting empirically-based research on community colleges
- Providing services to community colleges in California and nationally
A Graduate Student Research Development Center
Addressing the needs of graduate students interested in research on community colleges, C4 engages students in research on community colleges, with particular emphasis on field methods research.
