To declare the ESHD major students, must be in good academic standing at the time of major change and have completed at least one Education course with a grade of "C" or higher, excluding EDUC 102 and EDUC 190-198.
To declare a minor in Education or Athletic Leadership, students must be in good academic standing and have completed at least two education courses with a grade of "C" or higher by the end of their junior year.

Degree Requirements
Below you can access your degree requirements based on your major and concentration choice. There are two concentrations (Education for Social Justice/Learning and Behavioral Studies) to choose from and switching is easy if want to change concentrations. Also, all students are also required to complete a minimum of 40-Hours of Community Engaged Learning as part of the education major.

Education for Social Justice
Prepares you to acquire a critical understanding of educational theory, research, policy, and practice from an interdisciplinary perspective across the educational pipeline (PK through Higher Education) with a focus on challenging inequality and promoting equity and social justice.
